George William Tinsley, II is a young man of purpose who is driven by a solid work ethic and compelling will to “get it right.”  He is the Vice President and Managing Partner of Tinsley Family Concessions, Inc., a fast-growing company currently managing 40 concession locations in the Miami and Tampa International Airports.

Born in Louisville, Kentucky, George is no stranger to hard work.  His life has been embedded in the restaurant industry.  He began his management career while working in Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) through high school, and has since progressively evolved into an entrepreneur extraordinaire.

George has since continued his education earning his Bachelors from Morehouse College in Business, as well as an Executive MBA in Business from Florida International University.  His on-the-job training consists of twenty plus years working through the ranks and roles of various management positions and business structures with multiple branded concepts, George leveraged his functional and technical expertise in the business to grow his presence in the airport concessions industry.

George Tinsley, II takes seriously his commitment to create opportunities that empower his associates and colleagues to maximize their professional potential and elevate their life standards for generations to come.  He has been recognized for numerous achievements and affiliations, some of which include: Who’s Who in Black South Florida, Inc., Success Magazine’s 40 Under 40 Leaders of Today and Tomorrow; ICABA-South Florida’s Top Executives; Airport Revenue News Magazine’s “Legacy Careers…Next Generation.”  He also holds certification and rights to operate numerous branded concepts such as KFC, Starbucks, Pizza Hut, TGI Fridays, etc.  He holds certification with Starbucks, Adult Beverage, Sbarro’s, Jose Cuervo, SERV Safe, and Shula’s Bar and Grill.
